Restoration of Trade services
Trade are restoring some of our key services in line with the current Covid-19 restrictions.
Operational services:
Testing & STI prevention services
HIV testing at home - Assisted HIV testing – online
We are now offering weekly HIV assisted testing services online every Monday and Friday via Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Monday - 12pm – 5pm (Last appointment starts at 4:30pm)
Friday - 12pm – 2pm (last appointment starts at 1:30pm)
You’ll be allotted 30 minutes for the booking slot where we will guide you through the process in real time as well as providing any additional support you may need. You can also use this opportunity to ask us any questions regarding your sexual health and our services that are currently operational.

CLINIC xtra will restart on Friday 13th August 2021 between 11:00am-2:00pm.

A very limited number of drop-in appointments will also be available.
You can still access a full sexual health screening via online STI postal testing kits. Click here to order.
We understand that in some cases having an HIV or STI test kit delivered to your place of residence and/or carrying out the test at home may not be feasible or convenient for several reasons. If so, please contact us to discuss other options available for you.
If you are displaying symptoms of any sexually transmitted infections, you are advised to call Leicester Sexual Health on 0300 124 0102 for a phone consultation during their usual opening hours.
HIV testing at Trade - Assisted HIV testing – in-person
You are now able to make an appointment and come into the Trade offices for us to support you with your blood samples every Monday and Friday.
Monday - 12pm – 5pm (Last appointment starts at 4:30pm)
Friday - 12pm – 2pm (last appointment starts at 1:30pm)
You’ll be allotted 30 minutes for the booking slot where we will support you with obtaining an adequate blood sample as part of your HIV home sampling test kit.

HIV testing at Trade – Rapid HIV test – in-person
Trade have restored their Rapid HIV testing Kwik Prick service every Monday at the Trade offices every Monday.
Monday - 12pm – 5pm (Last appointment starts at 4:30pm)
Results available within 20 minutes. Support available before and after testing. This service is only available to gay and bisexual men and other men having sex with men living across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland and all new arrivals from outside of the UK living in Leicester City.
Postal STI testing kits – online
Order your free postal STI testing kit from our website, this will test for HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhoea and Chlamydia. The contents will be packed within discreet non-trademarked packaging.

C-Card registration – in-person
You can come tot the Trade offices to register and pick up free condoms and lube as part of the c-card scheme every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Monday and Friday - 10am – 2pm
Wednesday 3pm – 5pm
Want to sign up to the C-Card to be able to pick up free condoms from a number of locations across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland? You can register for the C-Card service with us as well as take some packs away the very same day.
Safer sex packs for men – online and in-person
You are now able to come to the Trade offices to collect your free safer sex pack for gay and bi guys across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.
Monday and Friday - 10am – 2pm
Wednesday 3pm – 5pm
For this service, make a booking for the C-Card registration on our booking page.
We are still offering our postal services form online orders for gay and bi guys across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland. Your safer sex pack will be posted to your chosen address and will include condoms, lube. The contents will be packed within discreet non-trademarked packaging.

New and self-referrals for clients accepted for counselling sessions both online via Microsoft teams and in person at the Trade offices.
