The PrEP Impact Trial has arrived in Leicester

Monday, 13th November 2017

From Monday 13th November 2017, St Peter's Health Centre in Leicester will be starting the PrEP Impact Trial.

If you wish to take part, please call 0300 124 0102 or 0800 318 908 (freephone), stating that you want to take part in the PrEP Impact Trial. You will then be booked in for an appointment with Dr Adrian Palfreeman, the local lead HIV Consultant, who will then go through all of the details of the trial with you.

Please note, there are only a limited number of spaces allocated to St Peter's Health Centre for the PrEP Impact Trial across all recognised high-risk groups, which include:

  • Men who have sex with men (MSM);
  • Trans men and trans women;
  • HIV-negative people who have HIV positive partners that are not on effective treatment, and;
  • Heterosexual people who are considered to be at high risk of HIV acquisition

Places will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis. Also, you do not have to be living in Leicester, Leicestershire or Rutland to access PrEP from St Peter's Health Centre as part of this trial.
